Ready for another Nap

My Destruction!!!

The New Object

I

I’ve been a bit naughty this week. On Monday, I somehow managed to lock myself in the utility room. I’m still not sure how I did it, but rather than barking to get Mum and Dad’s attention, I decided to have a little rummage around. I shredded a few towels and even got into my food container – the big plastic one! By the time Mum found me, I was very full, and she wasn’t too happy. Apparently, I’d ruined three of her best towels.

I’ve also been chasing the hoover every day this week. It’s loads of fun, but Mum keeps telling me off for it. I honestly don’t know why!

Mum has stopped using the hoover now. Instead, there’s this strange thing that zooms around the floor all by itself. I’ve no idea what it is, but at least I’m not getting told off as much.

The human who watches football left Mum and me on our own twice this week, so I had a bit of a sulk. Luckily, Mum took me on an extra-long walk to make me feel better.

I didn’t get a field run this week, but there’s still time – it’s only Saturday! I did hear Mum mention the Sniffari at Ross and Friends. I think that’s the fancy place we went to last week. I’m guessing she wants to go back for more coffee!

Anyway, it’s sleep time now. Being a Staffy is hard work!

Me and my Cousins

Having a Run

The Treehouse Station

The "Twits" !

This week has been lots of fun! On Bank Holiday Monday, I visited my local secure field at Grow Walkies for my weekly off-lead adventure.

My humans still won’t let me off the lead on regular walks because I can be a little selective around other dogs some smell funny! But I’m making great progress with my training! I just wish they’d stop clicking that silly clicker every time I choose to listen, then expecting me to work for a treat. Ha ha!

Tuesday and Wednesday were my usual walking days with my dog walkers while my parents were busy working. I suppose it keeps the treats coming!

On Thursday, the smaller human went back to school. I was very sad and stomped around the house for about 10 minutes before returning to my usual spot on the bed for an all-day nap.

On Friday, one of my parents came home from work early. I think it was just because they missed me! We enjoyed some cuddle time before the little human came home from school.

Yay, it was the weekend! The human who usually leaves me with Mum on Saturdays didn’t have football this weekend, so he took me to pick up my food for the next month at Pawsome Co. The lovely girls there gave me treats and made such a fuss of me. Mum says my food is expensive, but I’m a princess and only eat the best! Venison is my favourite, so I carefully supervised everything that went into the trolley. Mum also spoiled me with a peanut butter yoghurt, and it was so yummy.

Sunday was my very favourite day of the week. My humans took me to a new secure field, where my cousin Labs joined me. I do like them, although they can be a little annoying sometimes. Their owners call them the ’Twits’ because they bark at thin air! We played in the Treehouse Pasture for a whole 50 minutes, chased balls, dipped in the Water pool, did a few obstacles, barked at the dogs in the Safari fields alot. I hope my parents take me back to Ross and Friends Dog Experience  . I heard Mum say the coffee there is really nice, so I’m pretty sure we’ll be going back—she does love her coffee!
